Race Rules

WAVES: Runners will leave in waves determined by the field size, pace and potential restrictions imposed by state or county health standards. The race is chip timed so your time will officially begin when you cross the timing mat at the start line. Take extra precaution as you start the race and please abide by the directions provided by the race director and announcer.

BIBS: You must run with a registered bib in your name and wear it so it’s visible on your shirt or shorts. Failure to run with a bib will result in immediate ejection. If you cannot make the race, bib transfers are allowed but must be official and completed on the registration page in advance, or at the expo.

RULES: Law enforcement officers and course marshal volunteers are positioned on course for your safety. Law enforcement may require runners to stop for safety reasons. ALWAYS stay inside the cones on the roadways as per directional signage and chalk. Straying outside of the defined cone line is dangerous and could result in immediate disqualification.

NO roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, or other wheels on course. Baby strollers designed for runners. Dogs are permitted if registered as Wagging Tail entry and must begin at the back of the starting line.

Portable music with headphones are allowed but must be kept at low volume so runners can hear approaching traffic and verbal instructions from law enforcement and volunteers. Failure to abide may result in DQ.
