IPA 10K Course

The IPA10K course starts and finishes in The Barlow in Sebastopol, California.  This 6.2 mile course takes runners on a scenic run through a neighborhood and rural areas north of Sebastopol before returning to The Barlow. The course is considered easy-to-moderate difficulty with a few slight ascents followed by descents. Elevation gains are found on the first four miles with the final 2 miles a gradual 130 ft descent to the finish line.

Half MArathon

The half marathon course takes runners further north of Sebastopol on picturesque country roads before entering the south side of the Santa Rosa Creek Trail on Willowside Rd. near mile five for two miles. Runners turn left at Fulton Rd then quickly re-enter on the north side of the creek for another two miles. This scenic trail is flat and paved and leads back to Willowside Rd. and eventually, The Barlow.

NOTE: The race start and toast takes place in The Barlow on McKinley St. but the first 1/2 mile of the course is not timed. You may run, jog or walk the 1st half mile as your official chip time does not begin until you cross the timing mat on Eddie Lane. Your results will show the chip time for the 13.1 mile course, not 13.6

3K Course

The 3k is a 1.8 mile loop course following the first mile of the 10K route then deviating behind Analy High School onto the W. County Trail. The trail is partially paved. Once off the trail you will return to Morris St. and end up at the finish line in the heart of The Barlow. Dogs and strollers are allowed on this course. Dogs must be registered in the Wagging Tail division.

Beer Mile Course

The Beer Mile Invitational attracts the world's best Beer Milers who must guzzle a 12 ounce bottle of beer in the chug zone without spilling, then run a 1/4 mile lap around the Barlow as fast as possible, then repeat the process three more times until completing the Beer Mile.
The 2-Person Beer Mile team competition is open to all individuals who want to test their beer chug and run skills in 2 beer, 2 lap format (Solo entry accepted too - 4 laps, 4 beers).

The Brewery Challenge is a 4-person relay whereby each team member drinks one beer at the start of their one lap and then must drink another at the completion of the lap before the next member can begin their lap. Prize is the perpetual Growler Trophy and “Fastest Brewery” bragging rights.
